Health & Safety Procedures
As of February 15, 2022
Face Coverings will be optional for classes
-
On February 09, 2022, the Yolo County Health & Human Services Agency announced they will be following the state guidelines in regards to wearing a face mask in indoor spaces. We will be following these same guidelines at River City Dance Academy. Starting Wednesday, February 16, 2022 the wearing of a face mask or face covering will be optional for students and teachers during classes. These recommendations will continue to be provided to support members of the public in making individual decisions based on their own risk tolerance.
Studio Policies for the 2021 - 2022 Season:
VIRTUAL WATCH WEEK
-
Each month will have a "Virtual Watch Week" for parents to watch their child's classes virtually via ZOOM. Log-in information will be sent out to families leading up to each Virtual Watch Week. We do ask that parents keep their cameras and microphones turned OFF so as not to distract from the class. We are excited to offer this opportunity for families to enjoy seeing their child in class using their own device from the comfort and safety of their home or vehicle.
FRONT & BACK LOBBIES
-
The front lobby will be available for parents and students that need to purchase shoes, tights, or any other retail items for their classes. The back lobby has a family restroom that will be available for parents and students to use before or after classes. Lobbies will not be available for viewing classes at this time. However, please feel free to visit us anytime during normal business hours at the front lobby if you have any questions about your student's classes.
STUDENT LOUNGE
-
The Student Lounge will be available from 5pm - 7pm for students who have a 1-hour break in between classes only. Before classes begin, students will line-up outside of each studio and be welcomed in by their teacher. If any students have more than a 1-hour break in between classes, they will need to be picked-up and dropped-off before their next class. The student lounge will not be available before classes begin each day or at the end of classes each day; only in-between classes for no more than 1 hour.
We are VERY EXCITED for the remainder of 2021-2022 season as we are now rapidly approaching our Recital performances in June 2022. As always, please feel free to reach us anytime at info@RiverCityDance.net.
Most Sincerely,
The RCDA Faculty & Staff
