Updated Health & Safety Procedures
As of July 19, 2021
A Message From The California Department of Public Health (CDPH):
On June 24, 2021, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) issued a revised 'Guidance for the Use of Face Coverings' which indicates that face coverings are “required for unvaccinated individuals in indoor public settings and businesses.” The document also indicates that “masks are required for everyone, regardless of vaccination status” in certain settings, including “indoors in K-12 schools, childcare, and other youth settings.”
As a facility focused on providing dance classes for youth ages 2 ½ - 18 years old, River City Dance Academy is considered a youth setting while such classes are in session. Therefore, all participants in any indoor River City Dance Academy classes and/or events involving children ages 2 ½ - 18 years old are required to wear face coverings, regardless of their COVID-19 vaccination status.
Studio Policies for the 2021 - 2022 Season:
VIRTUAL WATCH WEEK
Each month will have a "Virtual Watch Week" for parents to watch their child's classes virtually via ZOOM. Log-in information will be sent out to families leading up to each Virtual Watch Week. We do ask that parents keep their cameras and microphones turned OFF so as not to distract from the class. We are excited to offer this opportunity for families to enjoy seeing their child in class using their own device from the comfort and safety of their home or vehicle.
FRONT & BACK LOBBIES
The front lobby will be available for parents and students that need to purchase shoes, tights, or any other retail items for their classes. The back lobby has a family restroom that will be available for parents and students to use before or after classes. Lobbies will not be available for viewing classes at this time. However, please feel free to visit us anytime during normal business hours at the front lobby if you have any questions about your student's classes.
The Student Lounge will be available from 5pm - 7pm for students who have a 1-hour break in between classes only. Before classes begin, students will line-up outside of each studio and be welcomed in by their teacher. If any students have more than a 1-hour break in between classes, they will need to be picked-up and dropped-off before their next class. The student lounge will not be available before classes begin each day or at the end of classes each day; only in-between classes for no more than 1 hour.
We are VERY EXCITED to begin our new 2021-2022 season, and welcoming all our students to their classes! As always, please feel free to reach us anytime at info@RiverCityDance.net.
