RCDA DANCE COMPANY :: 2026 - 2027 Season

COMPANY PLACEMENT AUDITIONS for the INTENSIVE TEAM:

SATURDAY, MAY 02, 2026

INTENSIVE TEAM:

Accelerated training and Performance opportunities for RCDA Dancers at Local / Community Events, as well as attending Out-of-town Competition & Conventions

The age group for Dancers on the INTENSIVE TEAM is 7 - 18 years old
- Dancers must be 7 years old by December 01, 2026 to Audition for the Intensive Team

AUDITION INFORMATION (Intensive Team):

'LETTER OF INTENT' + FEE & DEPOSIT:

Must be submitted PRIOR to the Audition date (required for Intensive Team Audition only)

'Letter of Intent' + Fee & Deposit due no later than: April 25, 2026
- Please submit your completed 'Letter of Intent' along with your Audition Fee / Deposit no later than April 25, 2026. Submissions may be turned in at the RCDA Front Lobby or by email to info@RiverCityDance.net.

DANCE STYLES:

Jazz (Contemporary/Lyrical), Theater Dance, Hip-Hop & Tap
- Audition Combo Videos will be made available for students to watch PRIOR to the Audition Date. All students who submit their completed 'Letter of Intent' and Audition Fee / Deposit will be sent a link to watch and learn the Audition combos BEFORE the Audition date.

AUDITION TIMES:

10:00am - 11:15am:

All students AGES 7 - 9 years (styles will include Jazz, Theater, Hip-Hop & Tap)
- Dancers must be 7 years old by December 01, 2026 to Audition for the Intensive Team

11:30am - 1:00pm:

All students AGES 10 years & up (styles will include Jazz, Theater, Hip-Hop & Tap)

SOLO / DUO / TRIO:

Any students interested in Auditioning for a Solo/Duo/Trio for the Intensive Team will need to indicate this on their 'Letter of Intent.'
- PLEASE NOTE: Auditioning for a Solo/Duo/Trio DOES NOT guarantee a placement and is solely based on Teacher recommendations. Any dancer that is cast with a Solo/Duo/Trio must also be cast in at least 4 group dances for the 2026 - 2027 season (NOT including the Performance Team Group Number or the RCDA Dance Company Production Number) AND have met their Ballet / Technique class requirements for their age range from the previous season.
- To be considered for a Solo/Duo/Trio, students must have had at least 1 year of Company experience. Some students may be considered for a second Solo/Duo/Trio at Auditions.
- In order to be considered for a second Solo/Duo/Trio, the dancer must have had a minimum of two years of Company experience. If cast in a Solo/Duo/Trio, the style of dance, the music, AND the Duo/Trio team mates partnered with will be selected by the Company Director & Teacher.

AUDITION FEE & DEPOSIT (Intensive Team):

FEE & DEPOSIT: $200

$25 Audition Evaluation Fee
$175 Deposit* toward Annual Company Fees
- All Audition Evaluation Fees & Annual Company Fee Deposit will be paid by means of RCDA's Online Auto-Pay System, and will be processed automatically at the time each ‘Letter of Intent’ is turned in. Please send any questions to info@RiverCityDance.net. There will be no refunds, returns or credits for this fee & deposit.
- *If not cast in the Intensive Team, your $175 Deposit toward Annual Company Fees will be refunded.

'LETTER OF INTENT' SUBMISSION DEADLINE:

APRIL 25, 2026
